The Elder Scrolls series has never been online. Oblivion will also be single player. The cell phone game StormKey is multiplayer via bluetooth. But i think they are separating the series that is on the cell phones. That series is called The Elder Scrolls Travels

How cool would an Elder Scrolls style MMO be though? We already have massive environments, a deep character development system, and (now with IV) spiffy adaptable AI. Considering the size of the game world in Oblivion, I don't see why the next project couldn't be some kind of MMO. I know that's probably treasonous to longtime fans of the series, but it at least looks cool on paper.

I remember reading a comment from a developer that they just wanted to release the game first single-player, and then add multi later on in one of the expansions. I wish I could remember the article, but I haven't slept for a long time.

cheerful tip

you start out in the very same dungeon from ARENA (developer statement but now you can rattle the chains)

ARENA was the one that hooked me on the ELDER SCROLLS series.

did you ever levitate in DAGGERFALL while on your horse and fly around?

also how big a house did you buy? (mine was the midsize 2 story not the mansion)

AND YES I AM GETTING IT

CHAPTER 2 AS WELL (i got my moneys worth by late May)
